Orchidom's Phalaenopsis are shipped bareroot. Dendrobiums, Oncidiums and
Cattleyas are shipped
both bareroot and growing on coconut.
-
The regulations governing the import of orchids vary from country
to country throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, as do freight charges
from Santo Domingo.
Orchidom makes all the necessary arrangements for shipping from Santo Domingo to
the customer's port of entry, including phyto-sanitary certificates and
Dominican export permits, and delivery to the air freight carrier.
Shipments are invoiced FOB
Santo Domingo, and customs clearance and other import formalities are the
customer's responsibility.
However, Orchidom's sales personnel are familiar with the import requirements at
many destinations, and can assist customers with their arrangements.
